After years of talking and months of doing, the Ride Archives went live at 23.57 last night (oops – we were aiming for midnight), Wednesday 14th October 2015… The site was officially ‘pushed live’ upstairs at the Brixton Academy at the after-party following Ride’s triumphant Nowhere25 show, by friend of the site and all round good egg Mark ‘Ride – The Network‘ Taylor – we captured the moment for posterity below.

Hello, I’ve got at least 40 live recordings on tape from the period 1990/1995.
Would that be interesting for the archive?
I just need to check the conditions of the tapes which have been lying in the basement for over a decade.

Are there copyright issues with having a database of live recordings available for download on this site (as most are unofficial releases)? I have a good selection of bootlegs but I’m finding it hard to get many from before 1991, even though it is claimed that there are loads of early recordings available.
