One of the most incredible gigs I’ve ever been to; half of the crowd seemed to be on the stage with the band by the end, such was the crush to get to the front. I ended up squeezed behind Andy Bell, inches from his feet dancing around the effects pedals. Hearing Dreams Burn Down for the first time was staggering. One of my mates had a dictaphone style tape recorder and recorded the whole thing, and I still have a copy of it on a C90 somewhere.
I can’t remember Taste of Honey at all!
